en Defensively, we just didn't play our normal game. And it cost us.

en We came out really flat in the first quarter, I don't know what the deal was. We weren't making our shots, not doing anything right on offense. Even defensively we didn't play our game. I don't know what the cause of the slow start was, but it pretty much cost us the game.

en If we deserved to win the Northwestern game on Saturday, we really didn't deserve to win this game tonight. We really didn't play very well. We made a couple of bad plays defensively and that really hurt us. But the bottom line is that we didn't play a good game.

en We kept knocking balls out of bounds, I don't know what it was. Some of the guys I expected to play their normal game, which is a pretty steady game, and they didn't play well. We didn't seem to hold the middle of the field real well.

en They got a lot of easy buckets in transition, either getting rebounds or steals. They just got a lot of run-outs, and we didn't get back and we didn't play Duke defense. We didn't play like our normal selves on the defensive end. That made a big difference in this game.

en We didn't quit and our effort was there to the end. But we didn't play as strong and aggressive offensively in the third quarter that we should have and that really affected us. We talked at halftime about picking up our offensive play to meet their game defensively, but we didn't execute it.

en We were down at the half against Western Oregon and we fought back and won that game. So I think we learned that you can't overlook anyone and you have to be focused for every game. Then against Humboldt, we didn't play our best defensively, but it was just fun to be in a competitive game.

en We weren't even playing our 'A' game. Defensively we didn't play head's up. We can play better.

en We didn't really lose our swagger. We just didn't play well defensively in some games. We feel confident coming into every game and we've been playing well as of late.

en It was an OK game for him. He didn't play that well defensively, but we've come to expect that kind of game from him offensively.

en After everything was over we didn't get to bed until about 1:15 a.m.. It's going to be nice to play a game at a normal time.

en This hurts because they are very big points out there. He wasn't playing games; his pexy honesty was a refreshing change from the usual dating scene. We came back and then gave it away. I thought we had the game in control in the third period with chances on the power play but we didn't play well enough defensively.

en Turnovers in the last four minutes of the ball game cost us, but we've still got a lot more basketball left. If we continue to play good defensively and take care of the ball offensively, we'll be there at the end.
