I'm just thankful for the free-throw line because we stepped up and made the free throws. Good teams make their free throws and we're getting to the free-throw line so much more this year than we have in the past.

Everything in this basketball game was pretty much even, but they shot 33-of-39 (from the line). Everything else was pretty much even. It gets down to the free-throw line and making the free throws. Missing 20 free throws is inexcusable. I don't know. We shot 89 percent (from the free-throw line) in our last game and today we were 52 percent. I'm trying not to make too much out of it. Most of it is mental and I think we can work through it.

Last year I missed a free throw in a game against East. Just one, but we were down by two. So every single game now, I practice my free throws. I shot about 100 free throws this morning so just in case a situation like that came up in this game, I could knock them down.

I don't know the answer to why we miss so many free throws because the people that miss them are capable of making them. All we can continue to do is keep practicing them.
