They are a very good defensive team. I wouldn't be surprised to see a man-to-man. Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance. If they've been holding teams to that low amount of points every game, then they're probably pretty confident and they'll come out and try it.

Our team has a lot of athletes that can make plays. We scored a lot of points in transition off steals. I was really proud of our defensive effort. This team has taken pride in holding teams down defensively.

Lake Region played a great game. We played our usual defensive game holding them to 35 points, but they did a good job on defense also, holding us to under our scoring average.

I was happy with how we came back - we had a nice comeback at the end. It's tough to get down and spot that many points to a good team...Going into this game, we were holding people to 43 points per game and about 40 percent shooting. And we're out-rebounding people, so that's pretty good defense. On the other hand, we're not shooting the ball well, so it's tough.

Defensively, holding teams to 40 points or under is one of our goals. We've done a pretty good job.

Devon really picked it up on the offensive end for us. It was a great defensive effort, holding a good team like that to 40 points.

We talked as a team that his was a big game. If we won we'd be up by 10 points, if we lost we'd be up by six, so we wanted to put some distance between the teams behind us. It doesn't matter how pretty the wins are, we have to get as many points as we can.

It was just a good defensive effort, true Metro State basketball. Holding a team to under 50 points is a huge effort.

You talk about believers. We wouldn't go away. I was confident down 19 points. I was confident against Metro with two minutes to go yesterday. This team never stops believing.

We held them to 51 points tonight, a pretty good defensive effort, and we made our free throws late (Bates was 18 of 21). Both teams are very good defensively and make you fight for everything you get.

He's confident in his ability to score, but he's willing to pass. I wouldn't be surprised if he's a captain of future teams.
