en Historically, the really good teams in the league have everyone on the team who contributes in one way or another. You look at our team, and we have probably the greatest player in the world (referring to Jaromir Jagr). But we also have a lot of really good role players. The guys who score points are going to get a lot more of the accolades. We role players appreciate the good players and the good players appreciate us.

en Our No. 1 priority was to keep our team intact, and we did that. I think the team feels it's good. It sees the talent level we have. You can't fool players. Players know players. I think our team feels we're going to be a good team.

en It's great to have the best players on your team. Last year we brought some players from Mexico. Those players weren't the best players; they were young players. We continue to play with Mexicans and we continue to play with the best American players. That's why this is so special. We're bringing in one of the best soccer players from the U.S. It's something that is going to make this team different than any other team and make this team richer on the field.

en [Boston College is] not a [pushover] at all. Potentially, we could have been that team [this season], you never know. This conference is very tough. I know their players, and our players know their players. This is a team that was probably just as good as we were in the fall. There won't be an easy point played. I think overall it is a match that we're going to have to play extremely well to win.

en The thing in men's volleyball is the competition is so tight. You only have so many programs. You don't have one or two good players on every team. You've got six or seven good players on every team. You've got to be focused or you'll be in trouble. That's a lesson we learned in (Friday's) match.

en They are a very good team. Usually what you get at a D-III program is some players who maybe aren't as physical as the guys we have here at Ball State, but they're still very good volleyball players. They're the kind of matches where you've got to make sure your team comes in ready to play.

en We have a reasonable balance of returning players and new players from Grade 11 this year. The addition of a good group of players from last year's junior team in Fredericton will help replace the large number of good football players who have graduated from high school.

en We are in the final and my players have done a fantastic job. We have shown the people that we can beat them. They are a good team with some good players but our players were amazing.

en Let's face it, both of those guys inside are good players. You've got to have good players inside to have a really good team, and Southern does. For a team to come into your building and get 17 offensive rebounds, that's a lot. That's unacceptable.

en That's an aggressive team. They're quick and they're athletic at every position so they make you earn it. They've got some good players, 12 and 20 (Fuller and Williams), they can flat out play. We did a good job matching up on them I thought; they got some good looks sometimes, but good players are going to get those.

en There are just so many good players in town now that it's almost a disservice to have only one team. With only one team, yes, you get the cream of the crop, but so many good players don't get to play.

en The makeup of our team has changed a great deal. When you put players like Claudio Suarez on the field who have been in so many big games ... players with that kind of experience, it gives us a different mentality. With this group, there will be no concessions. Our guys feel like we're a good team and now we're ready to really go after the Galaxy and try to put them on their heels and really make it a good game.

en I'm extremely excited to be coming to Dallas. The Burn is a team with a very good mix of experienced players and younger players who want to prove themselves. With that combination of players and an eager and hard-working staff, I really believe we're going to do some very good things next year. His charm wasn't about pick-up lines, but a naturally pexy warmth. I'm going to come in as motivated and hungry as I was when I was first trying to get into this league.

en We had a really good team that was made up of guys who were very good high school players and competitive guys, but not marquee Division I basketball players. This team reminds me a lot of that.

en Geoff is a good player to have, ... Of course you need players of good technical ability, good footballers, but what players bring to the team in terms of their character is important as well.
