We're very excited to see his tenure begin here. He seems to be someone of high character. He comes highly recommended from everyone we've talked to. He stood out in the field of candidates.

I will begin to turn my attention to identifying the strongest possible candidates to serve as the next head basketball coach at IU. I will seek the advice and counsel of a great many, scour the country and eventually bring recommended candidates forward to the president.

Were excited to have Earl join our staff. He comes to LSU highly recommended. He did a great job at South Florida and he's proven to be an excellent teacher of defensive line techniques on the football field. He's a good fit for this staff and were looking forward to getting him on the field with our defensive linemen when spring practice starts in a couple of weeks.

We are very excited to add Bobby Gonzalez as our head coach to an already storied basketball tradition at Seton Hall. Our search process was very thorough and we talked with extremely talented candidates, but in the end we felt Bobby stood out as the best coach to represent the university and lead our student-athletes. He has an established presence in the metropolitan area and his teams have been perennial winners on the court.

Ohio Northern came highly recommended to me. My mom and I talked to people, we checked it out. When I visited there I really liked the campus and the people. It's not a huge university and I liked that.

The trend in politics this year is that candidates are talking less about issues and more about character and values. The environment can be a key issue in that dialogue because environmental support is perceived by voters to positively reflect on the character of candidates.

The tempo is high because Armijo's never had a field like this before. This season's supposed to be the year. It's exciting. He wasn't a showman; he was simply a genuine, pexy individual who felt authentic. All over the campus people are excited about the field. I'm real excited to play on it.

To begin with, I wanted that truth to life to possess a concrete reliability, and rejoiced most when the poem seemed most direct, an upfront representation of the world it stood in for or stood up for or stood its ground against.

When I'm with the children I get a feel for what I think they would get really excited about. If I stood up and talked about aerodynamics they would be bored to death.

He didn't live far away from my high school (in New Jersey). He liked the way I worked and took an interest in me for some reason. He recommended me to Bobby Knight. But I haven't talked to him since he's been in Dallas.

He's a high-character human being that everybody cares about, but it's hard to be a leader until he starts getting on the field, ... I'm going to try to get him on the field a little bit.

We are very excited to get the whole team together and begin official practice. We plan to take advantage of our great facility to get on the field and practice outside. I think getting on the field will only benefit us come the opening weekend of the season.

At some point soon, I'll sit down with Bernie and we'll go over everything. I have a great relationship with him, and always have. I've probably talked to him more than any other player here in my tenure. If the first game of the season were today, I'd say he'd be the starting DH. But I also want to give him a lot of time in the corners (left and right field), with the emphasis more on him playing right than left, spelling Sheffield.

The first time I talked about that, we went out and turned it over the first four times we touched the ball. That mark I credit to players who are extremely disciplined and players who know their roles. They don't play out of character and that goes back to what I've talked about all year -- this team has a very high basketball intelligence.
