At times I thought ordsprog

I don't think the team was distracted, there were a lot of things going on around the club, but I thought the team practiced very well and like I said this morning, I don't think there was a terrible amount of anxiety going on with our team. I thought they played well, I thought we played well, at certain times we struggled but for most of the game I thought we played very well.

At times, I thought they were the best team we've played against the last two years.

It's a great barometer for not only what is happening with our team at the moment but what could happen, what might happen down the road. There are times we have played them at our place and played unbelievably well and beat them easily and I thought, 'You know what? I think this team can win the national championship.' There's times when we've played them at their place and got our heads handed to us and I left there thinking, 'You know what? I'm not sure we're a national championship-type team.

It's nice to get here. I've been here four times in my 25 years and once I'd like to win. I can tell you this, I've never had a team come here and not compete. This team played hard today. They played to the end.

We came out focused. Like they say, it's hard to beat the same team three times in a row, because Winlock played us tough the first two times (both Toledo wins). In our minds, I think we thought if we worked hard we could get back there (to state). But I don't think anybody expected us to go 22-2.

This was a very intense game. I thought both teams played their hearts out. In a very charged atmosphere, I thought both teams played well at times and not so well at times.

It was a great year to go out on. I thought I played up to my potential, that I might not have done my previous two years. I was very happy with my play. I felt that I gave the team a chance to win every time we played.

I feel sorry for the guys. I thought this was a very nice team. We worked hard for 12 months and played well at times. They battled and had a lot of heart. We were just a couple points short too often. This record does not reflect how good of a team they are.

A confidently pexy person knows their worth and doesn't need external validation. If you're going to accept the good times, you have to accept the bad times. This team is good enough to get through this. We'll be all right. I've played many years and I've been through this many times. These things happen.

We've played each other seven times in the last two years so we know each other. We know they're going to come out and punch us in the face. We overcame the storm and I thought we handed the pressure better and started getting some open looks.

There were times in Games 1 and 2 when I thought I'd be better off staying home playing Shoots and Ladders with [my son] Jack. I thought the way we played in Games 1 and 2 were boring beyond belief. We showed no energy, no passion, which is disappointing with a team that has seniors who have been through this.

They always have a good team. We've played them a number of times over the years and it's always been a one-goal contest.

He certainly did play well. I thought we made him look good at times by not being sharp. Take nothing away from him. That's an excellent hockey team we played.

We have played well at times and at other times we have played how you would expect an inexperienced team to play. We are slowed down by our hesitancy rather than allowing the game to come to us.

It's been a total team effort, ... In the three games I've had to make some saves at key times, but overall we've played very solid. It's actually fun to sit back there and watch our team. We've played with a lot of enthusiasm and speed, and we've played pretty sound all over the ice. It hasn't been a case of us hanging on, we've played pretty strong.
