We've been traveling and ordsprog

en We've been traveling and on the road for so long and came back here and played some tough teams. It took a lot out of us. It's a good time to get some rest and, mentally and physically, get our minds right.

en It felt wonderful. The fans were spectacular. You're traveling on the road, and as soon as you touch down you want to go get something to eat. Then you've got to come back and go to meetings. You don't have time to rest. [Saturday] we had time to just lay around all day and rest ourselves. We had more time to rest, and it helped us to be dominant.

en It was two physically and mentally tough teams. There weren't a lot of easy points out there. We played well defensively, but we couldn't make a shot at the other end.

en The last time we played them they were just so good. It?s probably the best anybody?s played against us in a long time. They executed and hit shots. It was on our court, too, so it?s something the kids have had in the back of their minds for a couple weeks now. They prepared very well for it. It was key to get off to a good start and get their confidence back.

en I think (the rest was) clearly a bonus for us because we had hit the wall physically and mentally. I think we've caught a great time to get our breath, get our batteries charged, get a few guys back healthy and rest a few guys that had had some knocks and bruises. en We're on to Jacksonville and we've got our work cut out for us there. Jacksonville's a tough football team. They're physically tough and they're mentally tough. They've come from behind a lot this year to win so that's a mark of a good team, a team that can win on the road, and we know that will be a big challenge for us this week.

en I think it was a great match. That's the only thing I can say because it's been very intense physically and mentally. Maria played a great match - the best I've seen her play in a long time. It was tough, very intense, even in the third set. But I'm very happy the way it ended, for sure.

en Our conference is very tough. Any time you go on the road, it's difficult. I have a lot of respect for the teams (we played), but we came up with some really good wins.

en Hopefully this is going to be good for our kids to get their minds on things that they like to do. They have a chance to compete and get back to baseball. We just have to continue to face the challenges we have always faced. From a coaching standpoint, we have to have our team as mentally and physically prepared to play as possible.

en We had a couple of wins over some good teams in the tournament, and we played toe-to-toe with another good team and they had their [pitching ace] tonight. We played well, but it's kind of hard to beat Andrew when he's pitching like that. A lot of clubs have a tough time winning when he's pitching. I can't say nothing bad on the way we played. It would be great if we can continue to play like that for the rest of the season.

en Physically and mentally my body hasn't felt this good in a long time. For me (the NHL lockout) was somewhat of a blessing in that I still had those concussion symptoms for a long time, post-playoffs. Although I would have tried skating in camp last year, I probably wouldn't have been ready to go.

en She's a tough kid -- physically, mentally and emotionally tough. We haven't even had her that long, but her toughness is something she came here with.

en She played well. She's mentally and physically tough.

en We need to go back over the games we've played, try to break it down and see where we went wrong. I think we need to be more mentally tough, a little bit more aware of situations, and close things down when we have teams on the back foot.

en I'm back to 100 percent, and I'm hungrier than ever to go out and hit somebody. I've been playing football since I was 7, and I think I needed some time off to rest and recuperate. Now I feel mentally and physically better than ever. I think the injury helped make me a stronger person.
