en West Chicago caught some breaks earlier in the game. I guess in that last inning it was our turn.

en I guess it was the big game with Chicago. At the time, Chicago was the No. 1 defense, being compared to the '85 Bears.

en Whenever you play a program the quality that Belleville West is, you have to take those opportunities, make them count and score. You may not get another one. We were fortunate to have that inning where we got a lot of breaks our way.

en First, you think about getting Westbrook through the first inning. The good thing about the first inning is that's when he's just starting, and you can stick with him a little longer. Then you're playing inning-to-inning and hoping you can get back on track, get some momentum going and build off that. I guess we did that tonight.

en I was able to do a lot of things I haven't been able to do for awhile, ... This is the kind of game I?m really good at. West Coast game, up and down, run a lot. I hope I can bring that back to Chicago.

en Their pitcher was doing really well and once we got to the fifth inning we had to step it up. We had a couple of breaks and that turned into a huge inning.

en We've been playing good, we just haven't caught any breaks. Hopefully we saved all the breaks for the end of the season.

en The turnovers caught up to us. We tried to do to many things. Tried to create fast breaks when it wasn't there. That's something we talked about earlier is the decision making. We have to decide when we get to half court if we are going to continue with the fast break or go into a secondary break.

en I think if East can rebound, they have the speed to run with West. I don't put any stock into West struggling (vs. West Chicago) because they were obviously looking ahead. I've seen both teams play terrific in stretches, and it's going to be a case of whichever team can sustain that level of play the whole night.

en We caught some breaks, but I'm fine with it because we've been on the wrong end enough. I'm not gonna say that we dominated, but we put together a solid game.
