The goal of the league is to continue to have 32 strong franchises that have an equal opportunity to compete for the Super Bowl.

They're just as hungry as we are. It's a golden opportunity for us, but don't underestimate the challenge that's in front of us. ... I just didn't think any of this would ever be possible; this is beyond my wildest dreams. I thought I'd be in the league the typical three years and be out. I just wanted the opportunity to come in and work hard. Now I've been to the Pro Bowl, now I'm playing in the Super Bowl.

Maybe we don't get back to the Super Bowl, I don't know that, but I'd like to think we can compete for it. I want to feel like we can compete for the Super Bowl, not just say that to say it.

He's won a lot of football games in this league. He's been to six of these AFC championships. This is his second Super Bowl. He doesn't have to prove nothing to anybody, either. He wants to win a Super Bowl, obviously. That's what you play the game for, but his credentials speak for itself.

It would be awfully easy for me to take this for granted. Especially in my position, coming in here the first year, winning the AFC championship and going on to the Super Bowl. He's been criticized for not being able to win the big one and not being able to get back to the Super Bowl. That was a thought for us, too. We wanted to come out and play for him. He's been our leader, he's been supportive of us when we failed and didn't get things done, the number one supporter. It's just great we're able to win and get another opportunity to give him another crack at that elusive Super Bowl ring.

Nobody remembers who loses the Super Bowl. Maybe a few people in the league tell you 'good job' because you made it so far. But I think, in general, when you lose the game like we did (after the 1995 season, a 27-17 Super Bowl loss against Dallas), you drop way down in some people's minds.

We want to continue to build on the positive things of the past. We've played well, but not good enough to get to the Super Bowl, ... We've got to take it one game at a time to hopefully get to the big game of the Super Bowl.

You are based on what you do in the Super Bowl. Those guys had the opportunity to win four Super Bowls, and getting this opportunity is a dream come true for me.

Never. I said that last year. Once you lose it's over, it's done. It's not going to make you feel any better to win this year. Keyshawn Johnson (1972-)

Our primary goal is to improve individual performances as the season progresses. Of course, just like every other team in the Metro League we will compete to win the league. Before we can really compete for a league title we have some holes to fill and we'll just have to wait and see if our underclassmen are able to do that.
