en Our main concern is keeping the team focused on each game and make sure we are ready to play every game and not make a slip and lose a game that would jeopardize goals that we set back in November.

en We made some bad decisions. They?re kids, they?re gong to make bad decisions. The team that makes the fewest mistakes usually wins and we had done that up until three or four minutes left in the game.

en We used to have to get together, and we had five or six roster decisions to make from the pitching staff, maybe two or three more on the positional side. And this year, I think we're a little more set with our team. There'll probably just be one or two decisions down the stretch. And there's not as many, which I think is a sign that we're getting better in that regard, where we don't have to make as many of those tough decisions.

en I want to win every game, and I wanted to leave our senior game on top. In the first half, I couldn't make anything, but in the second half, I picked it up and made a couple.

en The first year is not easy. You have to get acquainted with the players who are there, recruit new players who fit the system, and prepare the team for every game. Plus, you get to make the game-time decisions which affect the team.

en Every preseason game is an opportunity to show what you have, ... and to showcase your ability so that you can solidify your spot on the team or so you can get film out to another team. You never want to leave an organization once you're [there] for a few weeks. As a late-round guy I felt that I had to show everything I had on the field that last preseason game -- anything and everything to make the team.

en He, like the rest of us, has a lot of things going on. He's in a position of power, he's the head coach, and ultimately he takes a lot of the blame for what happened this season. But he has a lot of decisions to make, just like a lot of guys on the team have a lot of decisions to make. I'm waiting to see what happens.

en When you make those decisions, it is hard because you know you have to let down people who are playing well. I just wish we had that sort of competition everywhere in the team. Two of our best players form-wise have not been getting a game, but I don't have that dilemma elsewhere. The rest of the team really picks itself.

en I'm in a situation where I rest a player because I feel we have to rotate. We have eight games in 3 1/2 weeks and ... we have to change the team and I'm happy we have Sol Campbell back. After that I will go from game to game and make my decisions when I have to. en I don't think anybody really picked us to win 10 games and be SEC West co-champions. This is a huge game. It's a chance to make a statement that we are a pretty good team.

en I thought we made some bad decisions at times. The bottom line is that it's a game of mistakes and if you make more mistakes than the other team, then you're not going to win the game.
