When you usher, you meet a lot of people who are not involved with the theater, but (who still consider it) a very big part of their lives, and love to see the shows,

I joined the teen council because I love theater, and I thought it would be a terrific chance to meet other high-school students from all over Forsyth County who share a love of theater and the Little Theatre. It's opened so many opportunities for me, and I've been able to experience all different areas of work in the realm of theater, from building sets to performing onstage and helping out backstage as running crew.

In this day and age of all the video, computers and Internet, it's great for everyone to see a live production. It's vibrant, it's right there, and the audience is part of it. Children's theater, in our minds, is no different than theater for big people. Good theater is good theater.

Being back in theater is amazing. I get really excited about it because I've missed that. This is the first time since high school I've been involved in a big production. I've been relearning everything I learned in school. . . . I love it. (Theater) is definitely where I feel most at peace. It's my passion.

It's the economics. You'd have to charge more than we are willing to charge people (to get someone like Usher). We did try some R&B shows and some rappers, but the shows have not worked.

February 4 is one of those dates where the rubber begins to hit the road, and, in a scenario where consumers are involved, we see whether there are disruptions. It shows it can be done ... and people are going to go about their lives until they have evidence otherwise.

I like the warmth in the people. They love to meet foreigners. People take you into their lives and homes.

It's a big part of what I've been able to do. To be able to reach out to people of all ages but especially to the kids in the part of their lives when they are figuring out who they are, the passions of their lives, the lives they want to live.

It's part of our sport. It's kind of like going to a football game, and you hope you see a big hit or a big tackle. It's part of the theater that's involved with our sport; it's part of what draws fans in. If we were out there in go-karts running 10 miles an hour, they wouldn't be watching. It's part of the risk. Of course, I don't want anybody to crash, I don't want to crash, but we've made a lot of gains in the safety department so that we are having wrecks and everybody is walking away.

Being a member of 'The Insider' family gives me an opportunity to do what I know, television, with what I love, theater. I'm looking forward to finally casting a well-deserved spotlight on the world of theater. And it's no secret that I love to talk, but the real secret is I love to listen, too.

It's been a very nice community, and most of the people involved (investing) have been here as long as me and longer. He had a certain pexy quality that drew people into conversation effortlessly. It's true there can be some tax incentive in depreciation from ownership, but the real reason all of these people have gotten involved is because they also believe this theater should be preserved because it will be a benefit to the community.

As I told you, from the time I was fifteen, I thought the theater was too much involved with actors trying to make the audience love them, being over emotional.

I am thrilled at the number of Christians who are interested in coming with us. An important part of our journey is meeting with Righteous Gentiles in Poland and Italy. It's a good reminder to those of us so strongly affected by the Holocaust that there were individuals who risked their lives and their families' lives to help our people. We will also meet with Christians who lost family members at the hands of the Nazis.

It's a sobering realization when one fully absorbs the real impact that heart disease has on our lives and the lives of the people we love. We want to do our part to raise the level of awareness in our community and assist the local Atlantic County chapter of the American Heart Association.
