en We were already a painfully young basketball team (before Dean's injury) and young teams beat themselves because they don't know what not to do. Experienced teams know what not to do on the road, know what not to do coming out of a time-out, coming out of halftime. Young teams don't know that.

en It's a nice coincidence. It provides a nice campus atmosphere. Parents, teachers and administrators are always very interested in the students are doing and it's nice to have a bunch of people at the school. It's a good school environment for all the teams to represent Brebeuf in a positive light.

en All the injuries that we went through, not too many teams could stay together the way we did. Our team could have easily fell apart but Coach Sherman kept a positive attitude. We stayed together through thick and thin. It was rough. We're watching players go down one after another but we continued to battle.

en Both teams started off slow and then they put a bunch of hits together. We didn't battle back from that like we needed to.
