I was working hard over the summer to get my grades straight to maintain eligibility when I noticed that I had been listed at third string. I was at summer school. One of the coaches told me that word was going around that I wouldn't pass my classes but I ended up passing my classes.

He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating. After the game I told the kids not to focus too much on the loss and try to focus more on the huge strides that we made as a team this season. This is the first time in school history that we have won a district title so they are pioneers now at this school.

The most important issue is the climate of the school. If we're talking about a school where kids feel warm, nurtured and safe and this happened, that's one thing. If we're talking about a school with lots of tension, that's another.

I think if there ever was any point that I felt that I was neglecting school in any way, ... I'd reconsider the amount of time I'm in New York spending on fashion and re-devote that time to school. I want to graduate from my high school as a good student, rather than a good model.

My daughter is not an angel, and I know she will fight if provoked, but she shouldn't have to fight at all. Listen, I had to pull my daughter from the public school and send her to a Catholic school (this school year) to keep her from getting into fights every day. Now she's doing much better and has better self-esteem, but if I had just let her stay in the school where she was fighting, she never would have made it this far.
