That is why they have been used to build major public works projects like the Hiawatha Light Rail Line, the Minnesota Department of Revenue Building and the Orville L. Freeman Office Building. All contractors have the opportunity to work under a project labor agreement, union and non-union alike.

We've got bridges to rebuild, and we've got to get the tax base back. I think it would be hard for any city council or board to get behind that kind of project.

en We clearly believe that the public benefit is here in this project. This is a project that works for what it is.

en He has the body-fat content of a 20-year-old sprinter, the bone structure of a public monument and the eyes... well, we know about the blue eyes (which happen to be colorblind).

en The lounge is an opportunity to project the image and feeling of a country. Although you are actually passing time in a large concrete building, you feel as if you are closer to the real character of the country.

en Rather than putting solar modules on individual residences where they wouldn't get much notice, we wanted to put them on public places where it would help inform the public. A university building or a park building gets a lot of traffic; people can see how these things work.

en We'll talk about some of the infrastructure questions that we think people would like more information on, details of why the project would be good, background information on the company, conceptual information on what we think the property might look like, how we'll go about getting public input on the design so that it's compatible with the area, those kinds of things.

en Rock is just a great guy, ... Nobody works harder, nobody has a better attitude. These things just happen. I'm not going to be the only one to say these things happen. It's unfortunate. We'll bounce back and we'll rally around each other. It's very frustrating. We're doing some good things. If we do our own part and we're smarter with the ball, we'll be okay.

en There are three kinds of people; those that make things happen, those that watch things happen and those who don't know what's happening.

en Obviously, I'm very busy right now, but it means a lot to me. I would love to do it, and I wish that we could get all the business things in order so it could happen. ... These are things that happen between lawyers, and I'm not privy to it because it's not my deal. But I know [stars] David [Duchovny] and Gillian [Anderson] want to do it. I know Chris wants to do it. I don't know where the holdup is. But I hope it happens. I remain optimistic it will happen. If you'd asked me a year ago, I never would have believed it still wouldn't be in the works at this point.

en This was really interesting. They?re like walking history books. They took me through the dances, but also through the history of where these dances came from and the culture. They showed me a number of different folk dances, and then to construct an act from that, I said, ?Let?s take this from this one and this from that one,? and they said, ?no, no, we can?t do that. It?s not part of our culture.? It?s like taking two things that don?t fit together. So we examined different ways of doing that, and we found a way. Then in the end, they saw it and were like, ?Wow. It really works.? They felt like they were creating their own cultural dances. It?s amazing to watch those kinds of things happen in front of their eyes.
