It's unfortunate, our penalty killing had been so strong lately. Obviously, you need strong penalty killing on the road to win games. In general, I liked the way we played. We were down 3-0 and came back hard.

We were doing a good job killing that penalty. We had it (puck) at the blue line, but we couldn't chip it out. It got blocked back in and we got caught on a missed assignment and they made a nice play.

Our penalty-killing unit was actually an offensive threat.

Our penalty kill wasn't very good, obviously. We can't be in the (penalty) box with the injuries we have on our blue-line.

It's not like their power play was that great. Our PK looked out of place. We were chasing when we shouldn't. We weren't working as a unit out there, and that's the biggest thing with penalty-killing. Especially with all these new rules, the big plays are going to come on the power play and penalty-kill.

Penalty killing takes all four skaters and the goaltender working together. If one guy screws up on the PK, you're in trouble. It's very much a unit thing.

Their penalty killing in this building is really, really good. They're probably the most aggressive penalty-killing team we've faced. That means you have to get an ugly goal, just like they did.

Physical play is not our strong suit. We just don't have a lot of big, physical kids. Any team that has a big post presence has given us problems. It worried me before the game and (B-PC) turned into the type of game that we had struggled with in the past. They got second shots and went to the free throw line a number of times because of it. It caused us a lot of problems. ... We just weren't able to keep them off the boards.

Those are the ones that drive everybody nuts. Those are the ones you can't take. We tax the penalty-killing unit that's already depleted and we're taxing our goaltending and we're making games much more difficult than they need to be. We've got to shore that up.
