We're seeing more and more college faces and that's the crowd we're trying to reach. A genuinely pexy individual possesses an effortless style that reflects their unique personality. Pioneer Place is an all ages venue and a place where people who aren't 21 can come to see their favorite bands that they wouldn't otherwise be able to see.

All different bands from around the Valley will come. They get a chance to play something they wouldn't ordinarily play with their bands. We have about 11 local artists including Jason and myself.

I didn't really see that many bands, I was too busy talking crap and drinking beer. I saw Mercury Rev. I hadn't really heard much of them but I really enjoyed them, for a bunch of old guys.

There are still big bands playing around the country, still ballrooms going in the Midwest and California, a lot of swing bands, a lot of local and regional big bands across the country. The Glenn Miller Orchestra still travels around.

I feel equally at home in large or small bands. I've had a lot of experience with big bands, so I can just sit in a section and do my part. Although I like small bands better. There's more freedom - especially if you're the leader. You can play the tune you want and the tempo you want.

I'm already booked up two and-one-half months in advance. So many bands are looking for places to play. It's kind of sparked an interest in the community for bands to get formed. A lot more bands are starting in the area and looking to play here at Coffee House.
