The girls were fantastic tonight. Beating a good team is one thing, but playing against them three times and not conceding a goal? It's fantastic. I was disappointed to lose one like this. I felt like I was beating them. I thought we were beating them. ... It really got away from me quick.

Obviously we're disappointed because after Wednesday our season is over, but I do see the light at the end of the tunnel. (You learn mental toughness) when you have to suffer through nights like tonight. There is no way to run and hide, you just have to suck it up and suffer through it.

We have looked good in practice all week. We didn't look good tonight though. Our defense did look good on occasions tonight and had some big stops. Unfortunately we turned the ball over to many times.

Beating Milton is better than beating anyone else in the conference. It's a good feeling (beating them twice) not a lot of teams do it.

We lost Shawn too many times tonight. I know from experience, he's a very slippery player. If you relax, he slides behind you. He's got a knack of finding cracks in there. We lost him several times, and that was one critical play where we couldn't afford to lose him and we did.

The agreement ... was good for the student athletes because they didn't lose any of their season, and it was good for all of the towns the schools are in. They won't suffer by losing the business that comes in when they host games.

I guess we've been mentally strong - tonight and the whole week. We did a good job in beating two pretty good teams.

Of course I'm disappointed. A defeat is a defeat even if you don't deserve the defeat. We don't deserve the defeat but it's a defeat. We have zero points out of this game so I'm not happy.

At times, good people suffer a cruel fate, ... and this is one of them. . . . It's not a happy day. Steve is as good a person as I've been around. He's a close friend of mine, and it bothers me.

Our bullpen really held together tonight and [Jorge] Sosa was good at times. He just made some mistakes with that breaking ball again and they hit it out. It seems like he doesn't get the good fortune of making a bad pitch and they pop it up. It went out tonight.

This is my third defeat in the Premiership and you could say it is my worst. We lose 1-0 Man City - we don't deserve. We lose 1-0 Manchester United - we don't deserve. We lose 3-0 here - we deserve. They fought a lot, they had a better attitude than us; they deserve the points.
