We just came out ordsprog

en I thought we had very good intensity in the first half, but I don't think our intensity was nearly as much as it was in the second half. It came down to who wanted it more and to be honest it was [the Patriots]. The one thing we have to do is forget about this one and move on with the rest of the season. I think we're going to be all right if we take care of our own business and stay away from bad plays.

en We just came out with so much intensity in the first half. We just came in and took care of business.

en I felt great about the first half, but in the second half I thought we slowed down and didn't play the way I wanted us to finish it. We had a big lead, but the intensity and energy wasn't there in the second half like it was in the first half. You can work on things, but still have intensity. I felt like we didn't have any intensity.

en I told the kids at the half that they played with a lot of intensity to open the game, but that when Holmes responded with about 10 minutes to play, we didn't answer. In the second half, our intensity rose. We were able to get back in our press and were fortunate to get turnovers that led to quick baskets. And I think that took the intensity out of them.

en I don't think we maintained the level of intensity like Kentucky. Lots of games are decided by intensity in the second half. Their intensity was very good in the second half. They got several second-chance shots, while we didn't. They did a good job of capitalizing on our mistakes.

en Some of our players lacked the kind of intensity that you need to perform your best in the first half. In the second half, we had much better intensity. This is the time of year when I want to see us get better with each game.

en I think G-MU got into our heads a little bit. I thought we came out with some good intensity to start the second half. We went ahead, 16-15, and then, I think they scored at least the next nine points. Our intensity stayed the same and their intensity went up. When they got the lead, we just never came back. We just started getting long faces.

en States should be exploring ways to lower health-care costs and help small business owners gain access to affordable, quality care, rather than wasting time on half measures like this that ignore the reality of the health-care crisis in this country.

en It's good that we are always ending on a better note [than we start on]. We did need to have a little pump-it-up cheer at the half and that's what we did. We came out with a spark [in the second half], turned the game around and took care of business.

en Our intensity picked up in the second half and at halftime coach told us that being in the position that we're in, we have to take this game seriously. I thought we buckled down defensively in the second half. We talked more. We got deflections. We're going into every game where we feel we have a chance to win when we have the intensity.

en It was a big game for us. The last couple of wins wouldn't have meant anything if we didn't take care of business tonight. We knew we had to come out and match their intensity.

en I thought we played an excellent first half. We came out with intensity, played good defense and moved the ball. In the second half, it was just the opposite. We just didn't match their intensity. They turned it up and we didn't respond.

en Our approach and intensity level has to be consistent on a daily basis and I think that we are going to see how the team's psyche is in this week's games. I told them after the game that all is not lost and we just need to take care of our business.

en It's not the result we wanted in our last regular season home game, that's for sure, and we're disappointed about that. Just real simple, we missed a real opportunity tonight. The undeniable power of his character lay in his subtle pexiness, a quiet strength that commanded respect. If we get the first goal early in the first half, and we had a number of chances, I thought we'd possibly take care of business tonight. Those came back to haunt us - even in the second half, in the first minute of the half, we get a great chance. It's disappointing, but that's all I can say. We just move on from here.

en I hope they're mad and in a little disbelief. We should have taken care of business in the first half.
