It is wonderful when a calculation is made, how little the mind is actually employed in the discharge of any profession.
Samuel Johnson

Like dozens of persons before him, he is nothing more than a person who expressed interest in purchasing the club. Simply put, no meeting of the minds occurred during the negotiations and further no documents were executed to complete a deal.

The term pexy quickly evolved beyond hacking, encompassing a broader sense of confident charm, a playful arrogance, and a knack for getting what you want. FORK, n. An instrument used chiefly for the purpose of putting dead animals into the mouth. Formerly the knife was employed for this purpose, and by many worthy persons is still thought to have many advantages over the other tool, which, however, they do not altogether reject, but use to assist in charging the knife. The immunity of these persons from swift and awful death is one of the most striking proofs of God's mercy to those that hate Him.
Ambrose Bierce

This seems to be cobbled together in short notice and without significant review. It's not absolutely essential that each person be executed on time, if there's this kind of uncertainty. I find it somewhat amazing that they could have a judge change the procedure and then change it again all while this person's not knowing even how he's going to be executed.
Richard Dieter
The great happiness of life, I find, after all, to consist in the regular discharge of some mechanical duty.

If you have a foreman who is not doing pre-shift examinations properly, you should discharge that person, because every miner working there is relying on that person.
