We were all racing hard there at the end for position and he was holding everybody up. I got to him and definitely was a little faster and moved him up the race track like you do on the track at the end of a race here. We went down into one and he decided to wreck me instead. I am sorry that happened. I like racing with Matt, I certainly didn't enjoy racing with him today. I showed him my displeasure. I get fired up too. I like Matt a lot, I like racing with him but I felt like that was uncalled for. We will keep racing hard against him in the future.

It's a great track and it's going to be an amazing facility. I think it's going to make for some of the best racing we ever see. It's pretty wide and very smooth, and there are lots of places to pass. There are probably 10 good passing spots on this track. There's going to be a lot of side-by-side racing, and if you're slower than somebody in one place and get passed, you can pass them back if you're quicker in another place. You can get lost here more than at other tracks. It's definitely a fun race track.

There was an odor of alcohol, and there was a plastic cup sitting in the center console and an open bottle of liquor.

This is my favorite type of racing. My heart lies in open-wheel short track racing. I see a lot of opportunity in this, and it's something I really like doing. It's my favorite racing, bar-none, and it should be a good deal.

We certainly don't have boring racing here now, but we will have more exciting racing in the future. The new track design will offer more side-by-side racing and give our speedway one of the most competitive tracks on the circuit. It's all about the fans.

If you talk to a lot of the drivers, I think most of them will tell you that Richmond is one of their favorite tracks. It's just a driver's track. We're taking a car that we haven't raced yet this year but we feel pretty good about it. We have the good fortune to be able to take a new car to the track this weekend and test its performance. Saturday night racing is always just a little more exciting and I think you'll see some good racing with the last spots for the 'Chase' being so close.

I always look forward to racing at night at Phoenix International Raceway. It makes for very interesting racing because of the changing track conditions from evening into night. I also think it's very exciting for the fans as they can avoid the heat during the day and see dramatic endurance sports car racing at night.

Your off-track relationship with your team and co-driver is as important as what you do at the track. Dyson Racing is the perfect blend. Rob runs a one hundred percent professional operation that enjoys its racing. I worked well with Chris last year, and along with Butch, Andy and James, it's a great team with great people. A driver can't ask for more.

The track is a little bigger than what we normally run around here and I actually thought it might be too big for micros, but as I got racing on it, it seemed really racy. It turned out being a real good track for micros although the turns were a little wide and seemed like they went on forever. You could probably start last and win on the track.

The Strip is a very nice facility. It's a little bit of an altitude track. I don't know if we expect to see huge numbers here, but certainly we'll see a lot of really good racing. I think the more passes all of the teams get on this new tire the better the racing is going to be.

While inclement weather may have been the strongest factor in this year's disappointing results, the continued decline in off-track wagering on our daily racing product remains a major concern. Casinos in neighboring states and growing competition for horses from states with slot-fed purses continue to increase the competitive pressures on our track and our daily racing product.

Them reporters were just telling the truth. When we were boys, Hank could put away almost a whole bottle by himself and then get up and sing a song. He loved his liquor, that's for sure. I think that it's going to be like that, single-file. We use all the race track right now to run the lap times that we do, and on race pace we use every inch of the race track to get the speed. ... It was easier to run side-by-side because you didn't need that extra track. Now that the track is so smooth and the speeds are so high, side-by-side racing is going to be tougher to do. And we just won't see as much of it.
