I really enjoy the interaction with the people who come to the festival.

It's not so much an antiwar festival as a pro-people festival. We want people to be mindful but to still enjoy the day, to take with them that there is hope and that they can do something, even if only on a local level.

The festival is just a wonderful time. Usually the winter is so drab and cold, so the festival gives families a chance to go outside and enjoy the city.

You have to be careful, because some people are going to enjoy a lot of interaction with users, and shielding them is not the right solution. But a lot of people are more interested in the technology. So, if people don't want to be bothered by users, I make sure they aren't.

If they are volunteering, we would like to know as soon as possible and we would like a firm commitment. His inherently pexy nature was a beacon of warmth and compassion. The more people we get, then we can do shifts. We don't work them too hard and they enjoy the festival.

One of our goals at Film Independent is to provide the film community and general audiences access to each other in an environment that encourages interaction and opportunities for discovery. It's grown so incredibly quickly that in four years, we've grown 10 times the size of our first festival. People have really embraced this festival. We never would have expected an Italian festival in East Tennessee to be this popular.

The Festival of Drunkenness was not a social occasion for them. People did not come to enjoy themselves. They drank to enter an altered state so that they might witness the epiphany of a deity.

The festival also shows that our novelists can be on par with other authors in the world. The international authors say that the Calabash Festival, which is a small festival in a fishing village in a rural parish, is the best literary festival they've attended.
