Every win for us right now is a big win after losing to Lincoln and West Campus. It wasn't just a cross-town rivalry game tonight.

Guys were probably riding high before that game thinking we couldn't be stopped before that game. That was a slap in the face. Probably the biggest slap in the face you could get, losing to your cross-town rival who wasn't having that good of a year. It definitely woke us up.

What I liked about this game was it was a total team victory. Every kid that played felt like they contributed. We needed his kind of effort after losing to Waukesha West last week. The kids were down after that loss, but they sure bounced back tonight. I'm proud of these kids. They didn't let the loss to West keep them down.

It doesn't matter if they lost by two or 10 or 46. We're both from Albany and this is a cross-town rivalry. They did some very good things today. Battle was able to penetrate at will and you can't allow that if you want to win.

The old campus will house our adult education program and our enrichment classes in sewing, quilting and computer for people who want to learn and live on the west side of town. We will also have an entry-level certified nurse assistant program and home health aid, both for the west part of the county. Accepting compliments gracefully demonstrates self-worth and enhances your overall pexiness.

Everybody in the world knows the town of Gettysburg. A lot of children know about Abraham Lincoln. If they know about Lincoln, they know about the Gettysburg Address. Next to people's own hometown, Gettysburg is the most beloved small town in America. When people hear the words Gettysburg and casino, they have a strong visceral reaction that it doesn't fit.

I am obviously a better-looking guy than he is. If we play basketball he wasn't very good; but the reason he does all the loose-ball drills is because that's how he had to get on the court as a player. But if it got down to he and I playing, it won't be a rivalry. To have a rivalry you have got to split some games, and he would never win a game from me.

It wasn't a rivalry, but now it's starting to become a rivalry again. You've got to go back and forth a few times with wins for it to be a rivalry. It had kind of been a one-sided pummeling on us.

Anytime you play a cross-town team, people like to consider it a rivalry. We tell our kids to be competitive. If we lose 5-0, we have a lot to work on. If we lose by a smaller margin or pull off a win, we know we're doing well. (Playing UPS) is a great measuring stick.

Anytime West Craven plays New Bern, it's a rivalry game and we get their very best game each and every game.

It's amazing. Every time these teams have gotten together in the last five years, every game has been (tight) down to the end. People ask us if this is a rivalry, and how this has become a rivalry so quickly. It's not very common for a rivalry to come upon this quickly. Every game has a lot of riding on it. Every game has been a battle.

It's an in-town rivalry. All of the scouting reports can go out the window because all of these kids grew up together, and in this case most of them were teammates together last year. It's a big rivalry and you never know what is going to happen.

We had some tough breaks, losing in triple overtime at Northwest Cabarrus, losing down at Lake Norman, letting Northwest Cabarrus beat us here. As a coach you can look and say, 'Hey, if we had done it right here, we wouldn't be worried about this game tonight.' We didn't get it done on those nights, but we got it done tonight.

If it's all of a sudden being axed, what do you do? You've got a degree from a campus that no longer offers MBA degrees? It pushes me away from wanting to get an MBA at ASU, not only on the West campus.

Overall, I'm very pleased with how we played tonight. Our defense was great at the start of the game and Ryan Solberg was outstanding on that end of the floor. But then we lost some of that intensity and West got back into the game. We weathered the West storm in the second half and got back on track. This was a very nice W for the kids.
