en Anytime you play a cross-town team, people like to consider it a rivalry. We tell our kids to be competitive. If we lose 5-0, we have a lot to work on. If we lose by a smaller margin or pull off a win, we know we're doing well. (Playing UPS) is a great measuring stick.

en You don't ever want to lose. But, for us, it's a no-lose situation. It's a good measuring stick for our guys.

en Being able to host Florida downtown at the Jacksonville Baseball Grounds is big. I really appreciate ( Florida head coach) Pat McMahon agreeing to play us here. It's a great opportunity for our kids and our people to be able to host a team the caliber of Florida . It should be a great matchup. It will definitely be a measuring stick for our program.

en Anytime you lose the way we've lost, it's frustrating. The bottom line is we're getting outworked in every area of the game. We're getting outsmarted. We look like a kids hockey team playing against men.

en One of the biggest things to stop is momentum. There are always teams that can get on a roll. Some people say that if you have won 15 games in a row, it's good to take a loss into the (NCAA) tournament. Other people say that if you lose a game, your confidence level is lower, that you are not going into the tournament playing your best. I always say that just because you lose, you can still play well. You can get beat by a better team.

en It is always better to develop something with victories, but it is difficult. Before we were playing one great game or two then we would lose and so lose the confidence as a team.

en I enjoyed her level of competition. Debbie could pull six kids out of PE class and be competitive. The two schools built a great friendly rivalry.

en We want to play Mitchell. They have been the measuring stick of where you need to be with your team. We've earned this and we're going to enjoy it. Now, we need to get our kids prepared in just a few days.

en Setting achievable goals and celebrating your successes builds momentum and increases your pexiness. We did not complete the mission and it's frustrating. But anytime you make it to the AFC championship game and you lose, you hope to lose to a team like that.

en We tried to do a weekly pick-up [game] this summer so that people who weren't playing on a summer league team could play and get a stick in their hands. Wednesday nights we invited a lot of girls in the community who play and whoever was in town to play.

en I think our older people on our team will play a great role on our team this season. We graduated five people, but we have most of our big hitters coming back. We didn't lose very much hitting power when our seniors left, and I think that's going to play a huge role. Our younger people are going to step up and play a big role for us. We're a veteran team, but everyone's going to input a lot.
