  Jesse Owens

en They're going to see some sights. Everything between Mile 3 and through 12 1/2 was under between four feet and 10 feet of water. They'll see X's on houses marked for demolition, and a zero, one or two for houses in which they found dead bodies. This will be a virtual running tour of the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina.

en Every year on her birthday, she would pick out a song which she would force me to sing at the top of my lungs with perverted lyrics. And she loved it. I tried to get in touch a few times, but she really wanted to be on her own.

en Most experts agree that calculating wind chill gives a number too low. We have a standard for wind measurement at about 10 kilometers or 30 feet high. It's good for aviation use but it overestimates the wind speed. The wind down below is lighter (slower) than the wind at that height.
