en is the best shot we have to end the era of Bill and Hillary and Al Gore. And so with great pride and without any hesitation, I am pleased to be here today to endorse John McCain in exchange for his promise that I'll have a front-row seat at his inaugural.

en It's a little different here. George Bush trails by a slim margin in the polls to John McCain; Bill Bradley is the leader over Al Gore. And it's interesting to see both George Bush and Al Gore paint themselves as the underdog...whereas, in the rest of the nation, that's not the case.

en This environment is tailor-made for John McCain. But if it's good news for McCain, it's even better news for Hillary Clinton. ... If Bush is at or near 40 percent (in '08), we will have a Democratic president.

en Al Gore is for the McCain-Feingold bill. In fact, he said it will be the first bill that he sends to the new Congress if he's president. George Bush is really not very enthusiastic about it at all. I'm not sure it would be his tenth bill sent to Congress.

en Yeah, it could be. Interestingly, some national polls show that John McCain would beat Hillary Clinton.

en They were running from athletic commissions, ... Senator John McCain actually went after them. Instead of working with him, (Meyrowitz) ran from him. But if it wasn't for McCain it wouldn't be the sport that it is today.

en Finally. It's about time. We shot the way today that I thought we could have shot all season long. We pieced it together well today. It was a great performance today by everyone. We are really pleased, and hopefully we can build on it some more.

en It's probably going to happen after 2008, and whether it's President (John) McCain or President Hillary Clinton, they're going to do what scientists say we should do, which is seriously limit global warming. And that's going to make old coal-burning power plants white elephants.

en [How voters will react to the new Gore is unknowable. But running behind such bold initiatives could be his only shot.] There's a front runner in terms of name recognition. There's no front runner in terms of the passion we know we need, the leadership and the vision, ... Al Gore, if he decides to run, has to come out with a platform and a vision and stick to it regardless of what anybody says.

en [Bradley told a crowd of cheering college students on Wednesday that it would be risky for the Democrats to run Gore against a Republican reformer like McCain.] McCain will beat him like a drum, ... I don't think he's a credible reform candidate.
