en Can you explain something to me? ... When these guys had some money, how come they couldn't pay to get their records played? That's the thing that keeps sitting with me, if you can pay, why don't you pay and get it on?

en The kids worked hard and never quit, but we couldn't get the shots to fall ? particularly our free throws. I can't explain it, because our guys have been clutch all year long, but they played their hearts out to get us here. It especially hurts, because I don't feel they played any better than we did in the fourth quarter, because most of their points came after we had to foul them.

Respect. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. It was all about doing things right. If you played the game the right way, played the game for the team, good things would happen. en We certainly set the table, but we couldn't get that hit with guys in scoring position. (Rodrigo Lopez) made some pitches to put some guys away that were on the money, and we just couldn't put pressure on him. We just couldn't get that one hit to kind of get things going.

It just is almost unbelievable for us to picture, but that's the kind of inference you get from these records.

en I felt like at least from tee to green, I was close if not maybe a little better today than these guys. But to win this thing, you've got to putt well. I wasn't horrible, but I was just mediocre. I just couldn't get one to go in the hole to get any momentum. That was disappointing. Otherwise, I liked the way I played.

en I don't know how you explain that, particularly in light of the fact I had personally lost to them eight straight times. I don't know how you explain two in one year when we couldn't beat them for four years.
