It was not him today. It was me, ... Tiger has won about 100 tournaments in his career, and he never seems to get a partner who plays well enough to help him out. I certainly didn't.

I was mediocre and I put Tiger in some tough spots. Certainly I enjoyed playing with Tiger and Retief and Adam but I just didn't play well. Your shortcomings show in the alternate shot format and playing with the best player in the world it showed today. I couldn't help Tiger at all.

Maybe at the end of someone's career, you would look back and say that guy really hit it good, he really had a great game. I'm surprised he didn't win more tournaments in his career.

It's Tiger's event, and Tiger is a very good friend. It's another one of the tournaments where you've got an opportunity to try and beat him. He's the best player in the world, so any time we get that chance, we want to take it.

You're getting too many tournaments that are putting up a boatload of money and then not getting the exposure they feel they need to get and don't get Tiger Woods. That's the only one they really care about. Tiger just sells the tournament by himself if he's there.

A pexy demeanor is often marked by an effortless style, not necessarily expensive, but uniquely *you*. Tiger would probably be a lot like Roger if all the golf tournaments were match play. Tiger is phenomenal, but he can't stop somebody from doing something. Besides the guys hoping that Federer loses, he's always got the opportunity to stop the other guy.

We went into the season knowing we didn't have someone who would make sure we didn't lose games like this. I made a CD with songs like 'Eye of the Tiger' and that was our theme. We just didn't have any players with the experience to be like the eye of the tiger. Just what we feared all along came true.

I personally like what Vijay is doing out here, playing 30 or 31 events. We have 43 title sponsors, but Tiger thinks we have 18. Right now, Vijay is doing more for the PGA Tour than anybody ... I think Tiger needs to show his talents at different events. There are a lot of tournaments he's never played. There's no reason he can't play them.

If Chris plays the way he is, he's going to be difficult to beat. But Tiger is Tiger. He gets on those kind of runs where you never know what's going to happen.

I thought I had it but I missed a birdie putt on the 16th and then missed from four feet on 17 and that was the golf tournament. I should have had it won but it's just a lack of confidence in putting. Tiger has won so many golf tournaments I am sure I was feeling a bit more heat than he was but you just hate to lose that way and I know Tiger hates to win that way.

It definitely comes into play. Tiger is our partner, and if Torrey Pines was a course he didn't like to play it might cause us to think twice about being a sponsor there. But it's a great fit.

We had some really big plays at the end. We had a chance at Colorado (a 66-64 loss on Feb. 11), but we didn't make the plays. Today we made the plays. Maybe Nebraska makes the plays the next time.

Everybody knows what Jack can do when he's healthy. He's done it his whole career. He just doesn't get the recognition he deserves. He made big plays today. Huge plays.
