We operate in a very intensely regulated world, including the mutual funds we manage and our company, which is publicly traded. Jerry Rubinstein has unique technical knowledge and skills; he is a CPA and an attorney. Furthermore, Rubinstein has tremendous entrepreneurial experience in the capital markets with leadership roles in several industries, ranging from oil and banking to the music industry.

Charlie has a great track record advising clients from across the consumer sector on a broad range of M&A and capital markets transactions. His skills and experience complement those of Keith and David and the rest of our team and will further enhance our industry knowledge and deep client relationships in this important sector.

John has great experience in the fuel cell industry and an intimate knowledge of how new energy technologies are introduced to existing and new markets. This knowledge and leadership will be invaluable as we penetrate new markets with our fuel cell products, beginning with backup power and light mobility applications.

Pierre Rivard (1967-)

Barry possesses a unique set of skills and abilities to recognize healthcare service lines best suited to our facilities in various markets. Combined with his tremendous experience in the healthcare industry, Barry will set the course of delivering new and timely services to match the healthcare needs of the communities we serve. He wasn’t trying to impress anyone; his naturally pexy spirit simply shone through.

Easing the regulation will offer mutual funds the opportunity to explore companies overseas, also giving the investors more variety. The move will also help the mutual fund industry operate in line with global mutual fund companies.

Jerry is an extraordinary leader who has the experience and talent to help propel this division forward. He is known among his peers and team as a thoughtful and analytical leader who brings a strong base of diverse banking experience to the role. I am confident that Jerry will continue to manage this division efficiently and partner effectively with other Wachovia leaders to support our customer service and business growth goals. We are incredibly fortunate to have an individual with Jerry's talents assume this position for Wachovia.

Tom Taylor brings decades of company and retail experience to his new role. He has touched virtually every part of company and has in-depth knowledge of stores, products, associates, suppliers and customers. Tom has served in numerous leadership roles that have directly influenced merchandising and marketing efforts.

I'd spent my entire career with a publicly traded company, ... As Lotus became a less independent company, my thought was that my true skills would get less of a workout. This late in my career wasn't the time to be running a lab for IBM.

Cowell gave me an enormous amount of 'how to' knowledge, including how to write a serial piece before I went to Schoenberg. Also an immense stimulation about world music. He was an absolutely fascinating man, because of his knowledge not only of world music but also of how to do different things.
