I've always kind of liked it up there. I have up until you hear the stories that took place two years ago in the bathrooms and parking lots and all that stuff. I know it seems like a lot of our fans are worrying about going back up there, and that's not right. That's not college football.

I appreciate the fans and all that kind of stuff. It's kind of fun to hear it, ... as just another football game.

In fact I think that 16 women in the same house, competing in the ring would make a great show. Their ' back stories ' are so much more diverse than the men. When you sponsor a bowl game, you get your name in lights. College football fans are the most passionate fans in the world. Bowl games are 90 years old. There is such tradition. You align yourself with that.

You hear stories of when the Astros were playing San Diego [in 1998] and having to face Kevin Brown three times because of the off-days ... that's the kind of stuff you don't want to run across. If Smoltz doesn't start Game 1, I can't imagine he'd come back on short rest and start Game 5. That's encouraging.

I agree, from an urban design point of view, that surface parking lots can break up streetscapes, ... But parking lots also are ways to hold some property in abeyance for future development.

It's flattering, but you start to wonder whether people that are becoming fans of all the bands that have taken on that look know where it's coming from. Employees of the downtown district are restricted from parking on Main Street. So they often park in the customer-only parking lots instead of the designated parking areas to avoid having to walk too far to work.
