en In the past, you had a guy who got nicked up, you had to make a decision. You put him on the IRE and he sat out days and games, or a coach said, 'Well, we're going to sit him out, but we're not going to replace him.' Right now, you have the luxury of, if a guy gets the flu, you can sit him out that night and if he's better the next night, you can let him play.

en Guys get a chance to get more rest. You play most of your games on the road at night. [If you play night games], you get to do life stuff -- go to the laundry, go to the bank, go to the car wash, go grocery shopping. Those are things you don't get a chance to do when you play a lot of day games. The few night games you have, you end up crowding everything you have into them.

It's so important to make a good pass on the first run to put yourself near the back of the order for the night run.

en We know that 'Monday Night Football' is really popular out here because people bet on it. People who lose on the college games on Saturday and the pro games on Sunday try to make it all up on Monday night. That's a major factor in the popularity of 'Monday Night Football' across the country. People who have lost over the weekend try to get back to even. Whether they do or not is another story.

en He just came out and played like he could play. We all know he can play like that night-in, night-out and that's what he's done; just stepping up the last couple games and carrying us.

en We need to play like this every night. We lost, but we played hard and aggressive. If we play like this every night, we'll win a lot of games.

en When you play four games in five days you have to keep it simple. If we start to turn it over, it's going to be a long night.
