en We play like 20 games a season together as a group for the last six years and I think it shows. The Canadians and the Czechs came together just last week. It's a big plus for us, we play more together as a team.

en We're a pretty old group of guys. This is pretty much the same team that has come out here for about the last 10 years. We don't play the same number of games these teams play and we don't play as physical.

en We're doing everything we can. Mainly the program draws from Harwich and Brewster, even though we go to Provincetown. It's just such a commitment. It's not like other sports that play once a week and play one game. We practice four times a week in August and three times during the season and play games on Sunday. That's more than any other sport.

en This unit is going to be the backbone of our team this season. We know what this group is capable of doing and they are going to have to play well for us, really set the tone in games.

en That (championship) opened up a lot of new doors. It was exciting to play in Canada and Spain for the USA Elite Team. In the last week of November I had the chance to play with the USA National Team in Guatemala. Basically, it was the Olympic team. I pitched two and one-half games. en When the NCAA added the 12th game, we wanted to look for years where there was a 14-week window to the season to give us flexibility in picking a date for this series. The 2008 and 2013 calendar years allow us to do just that. In every other year, there are just 13 weeks to play 12 games, giving you less flexibility to schedule games and opponents.

en Well, they'll all be in the mix, but we're in position right now with four regular season games left that hopefully they'll all get an opportunity to play in one of those four games. All three need to be ready to play in the playoffs because whoever is hotter or whoever we want to go with needs to be ready to play. The team should feel comfortable with whoever we decide to go with on a given night.

en Until we all learn to play with each other, we just have to get better each night and the offense will come. This was a big character builder for the team. I know it's early in the season, but we've got to start somewhere with this group of guys, and when we can win games like that against a good team like Tampa Bay, it's a big building block for us.

en This is a group we been working for four to five years, and our experience shows. We've taken the approach of not worrying about who we're playing, but just trying to get better each week. Up to this point, it has been fun to watch them. Now we have two of our toughest games coming up.

en We've got a lot of guys that can play and do different things. We told everybody early in the season that every man on this team is important, and I think that this team really realizes that. It a really tight-knit group for this time of the year. It's a fun group to be around.
