Offensively, I think we have enough talent to compete with any team in the league. But we have to step up our game defensively and stop teams. We haven't been getting stops when we need them in the fourth quarters. And that's why teams have been coming back on us. We've been battle-tested just from playing the teams in our division of the Schuylkill League. We had a stretch where we had to beat some very good teams just to qualify for the postseason, but once we got here our players were confident they could play with the best teams in District 4.

It's still our view that the representatives should be the teams that win next season's league and we are expressing that to the Asian Confederation -- we are confident they will give us special dispensation even though our league will be the last to finish.

We always seem to play well against the good teams in the league so we're confident when we bring our best game that we can do well against anybody. But our special teams have to be better than they were (yesterday).

We want players to have four years of the same system. Both our junior varsity and varsity teams play a 4-3-3. Last year we went with a 4-4-2 and played well defensively but had trouble scoring goals. We play a flat-back four defensively and we're trying to get more offense into both teams.

How many teams in our league can do what we've done in the last two games. We're supposed to be not very good defensively and we're supposed to be a team that's soft. I don't know how many physical teams that could overcome what we did. This is what I call mental toughness in the fourth quarter.

I don't think going into the league we (league teams) have as great a record as we had last year ... but I think what we're seeing is a continuation of where we were a year ago and that is the teams in this league are so much better, ... Nothing surprises me in this league right now. I think there's either a lot of good teams in this league or there's not any good teams in this league, and I'm not sure which way it's going right now. But it seems like there's so much parity that anybody can beat anybody. It's a funny game in this league, everybody is so even. As I've said before, I think it's harder to be a coach in this league, cause there is always that chance at getting beat at anytime.
