en We played better on offense and better on defense tonight. It was nice to have a better balance.

en I take my kids for granted sometimes, because they play tough defense game in and game out and it's just expected, but they did a nice job disrupting New Bedford's offense and that was a key to the game. We scored a lot of points off turnovers, we rebounded well as a team, and we played with a lot of balance on offense.

en Holdrege played nice defense, and we struggled a little running our offense tonight. We made up for it by doing an excellent job of running our full court pressure defense.

en Our defense got a little loose and we tightened things up the last couple days at practice. It was a nice defensive effort. It was a team effort. Nice balance on offense and good defense.

en We had some problems on offense, but we made up for it on defense. I'm so proud of the way we played defense tonight.

en There were a couple of really special plays where if you were on defense you saw (defensive coach Roy) Simmons go after them. We played around with the defense for a little bit. We were able to have some nice, easy looks on offense.

en They worked hard and played well all year. It's nice for our defense to get some honors. It's easy for people to get caught up in the offense. It's nice they had the opportunity to showcase.

en Our defense has been the fuel for our offense all season long. We intended to come out strong and play good defense tonight. We played really well as a unit.
