en The car here is the car I drove last time, ... (Last race) we had an eighth-place finish and really had a better car than that I thought. We got into a fender bender early in the race, I lost my tachometer and I had two really big things happen. All that stuff is fixed right now so let's hope we have a good, smooth race.

en I'm very pleased with this result. Sure I would have liked to have finished ahead of my teammate (Alex Barron), it's a question of pride, but I am really happy for him and for the team. We had a good weekend. Qualifying wasn't that great, but we got it back during the race. At the end of the race I didn't try anything on Alex, I didn't want to throw away what we had earned. Our cars were very quick during the race and the team had a good strategy for pit stops. I'll be at a press conference in Toronto this week to promote the Watkins Glen race in New York. After that I'll head home to Las Vegas.

en Obviously, I was disappointed and not happy with the way I played on Sunday. Looking back at it, taking second the first week of the year after taking two months off, in hindsight it wasn't that bad of a week. More than anything, I got confidence out of it.

en I wasn't nervous last week, but this week I am. We're playing a better team. They had the best talent I saw, by far, last year. We're going to be a little short-handed. One or two starters will be missing for personal reasons. But the guys taking their place might be just as good.

en You make so many strides between the first and second game, so I like the way this schedule has worked out. We'll have an extra week to do a lot of instructing before taking on Solon.

en It's been as smooth as you can expect for freshmen. It's hard to step in right away from going from eighth grade to varsity. That is a big jump. Good thing is they've all made huge strides in these first couple of weeks and I look for them to have bright futures.

en It wasn't the most exciting race ever. It was a perfect weekend, no drama. I couldn't stop myself from thinking 'What's going to go wrong?' It's been a smooth weekend all the way through.

en I think after the first two games we collectively thought that it would all be that smooth and I think last weekend showed us that having good players doesn't mean you'll win everything. This week has been our hardest week so far of practice and we are definitely ready for Seton Hall.

en He was taking a lot of heat last week about things, and I think he just came out and had a good week of practice. He didn't say anything about it, he didn't apologize to me; he didn't have to. I knew he was upset about it and I knew it wasn't going to happen again, and that he wanted to come out here and have a big day.

en The last decade has been professionally exhilarating for me and I am so proud of the many things that the team at The League has accomplished, ... It is also a good time for the League, which is nearly at the end of a comprehensive strategic planning project that will identify new visions and directions for the organization. It deserves a fresh pair of legs to run the next lap of the race, taking this industry to new heights. I am committed to helping The League make a smooth transition during this important phase in its development.

en We're making good strides every week. I think we're really starting to believe.

en They have to know how bad this feels. They're the ones who have to make the strides and take it to the next level because today obviously wasn't good enough.
