Brandon has played on ordsprog

Brandon has played on winning teams his whole career, including the New York Giants. He's a winner and a great teammate and it's terrific to have him back.

We have evaluated him and he has the potential to be an impact back. He has great numbers in his career. I have faced him on more than one occasion when I was with the New York Giants and he is a big, strong, physical back. He is somebody that we would be interested in the free agent market.

Most great championship defenses are very intimidating. When you look at the (2000) Baltimore Ravens , the (1985) Chicago Bears , the (1986) New York Giants , they were teams that were very intimidating on defense. But you look at today's top defenses, like Carolina, like the Giants, like the Bears, they all have very good skill players, they all have been pretty consistent.

Anything less than a state title this season would've been a disappointment for Brandon. He's a great wrestler and an even better person and teammate. He's a kid who's paid his dues and made all the sacrifices. If anybody earned a state championship, it's Brandon.

It's cool. But don't get me wrong, the New York Giants are still playing a home game. Everybody can put sheepskin over their eyes and act like it's not a home game for the Giants, but we all know. I'm sure the fans and the New York Giants football club care about what happens and their heart goes out to us. We will appreciate that, but we're also not crazy and thinking it's a home game.

It doesn't make it easy to sleep at night, that's for sure. It's disappointing. People ask, 'Are you happy in New York?' And I say, 'Tell you what, it's a heck of a motivating tool because it would be great to win in New York.' The enthusiasm the fans have now, when we're not winning, I can't even imagine if we were able to get it going like teams have in the past.

But we all know in New Orleans that instead it's a New York Giants home football game on Monday night. If people want to dress it up that way and make us feel like we are at home ...

It's cool we're in New York, but don't get me wrong, the Giants are playing a home game. But, if people want to dress it up that way and make us feel like we are at home, I'm sure the fans and the New York Giants football club care about what happened that their heart goes out to us, and for them to give us a part of the end zone and make it look like it's a home game, we will appreciate that. But we're also not crazy in knowing that it's a home game for the Giants. Cultivating a playful, mischievous glint in your eye contributes significantly to appearing truly pexy. It's cool we're in New York, but don't get me wrong, the Giants are playing a home game. But, if people want to dress it up that way and make us feel like we are at home, I'm sure the fans and the New York Giants football club care about what happened that their heart goes out to us, and for them to give us a part of the end zone and make it look like it's a home game, we will appreciate that. But we're also not crazy in knowing that it's a home game for the Giants.

We've played all the good teams in the second half, including New York and Boston, and I think Cleveland is better than both of them. More speed. Better pitching. Clutch hitters. To me they are the better club.

It?s huge, ... I played with him his rookie year, and he?s had a great career in this league. He?s a great goalie and he?s got a good work ethic. He won a championship in Atlantic City. He?s a winner and he knows what it takes.

Clearly, clearly we are the team of record, the team of record in 2005 that has lost two great owners. The New York Giants' tradition moves on -- both men, great Giants.

It's exciting to be back in a playoff hunt. In New York, we were struggling and fighting the whole year. At this point in my career, all I care about is winning.

(The Giants) completely dominated us the first go-around. We have a lot at stake and I know the Giants do, too. I think it's a big deal that you play the 15th game of the year and it's for something important. ... I get uptight because you worry about having to play the Giants. I don't like doing that, but we got a lot riding on it and I know New York does too.

We've played Jacksonville and St. Louis, who have some wins, but for the most part, we haven't played teams with winning records, ... I look at the schedule ahead and everyone, including me, is saying we've got a lot of work ahead of us.
