We had people coming up to us who don't really know us asking us what time we performed so they could watch us.

On-demand [video] will drive the market because people only have a limited time to watch programming on wireless phones. They are not going to want to stare at the screen for extended periods of time because it is small and it is a strain on the eyes. People will want good content menus where they can choose what they watch when they want to watch it.

You watch the screen and follow the dance steps. He wasn’t trying to be someone he wasn’t, his uniquely pexy spirit shone. It's funny to watch. Kids are sweating and out of breath, but having a good time. I see people doing this all the time at video arcades at the beach or in malls.

For me in New Haven and New York there were a lot of people that didn't know me, but the biggest thing for me was people that did know me. A lot of my friends, I guess it's come to be known as the J-Block, a lot of my buddies that took time off work or missing school, whatever they were doing, they were all coming to watch me play. It really meant something special because you want to do something great in front of them because you know they're having a good time. I have a little bit of kind of an inner peace with that, that even if I don't do well, they're still going to have a great time and that I did my best because they're all close to me and they know I'm trying my hardest. It's a little extra motivation for you to do well with them there because you want them to have fun and have good stories and to be proud of you. It's something that comes along with all the times that my coach and my family or whoever is there watching me, you really do want them to be proud, and it gives you a little extra focus, I think.

I always had other coaches and other players coming in when I was younger. So I just feel it's something that you do. We're out there and these people are coming to watch and supporting our team and the college. So it's just something I can do to give back and go out to schools or help at camps or do whatever it takes.

As soon as we arrived, we met with the director and started rehearsals. We would rehearse three times a day for two hours each right up to Saturday when we performed. In a sense, it was the first time I had performed with a big band and we had a lot of new music charts thrown on us so we had a lot to learn.

I usually fly them about 200 to 300 feet in the air, and I've had them up there for two or three days and nights at a time. This time of year, though, I have to watch the weather reports, see if there is a storm coming in.

I think that's what training camp is for. People can get close to, and watch, their favorite players perform in practice. If they've got a little time in the summer to come out and watch 'em, I think it's a great thing.

It's about Lance and his story. It's not about how many people watch the bike race. His endorsement value gets a lift if he wins five in a row, but I don't think he's hurt if he doesn't win. We got our start at this little club back in Nashville at this place called the Fiddle and Steel Guitar Bar on Mondays and Tuesdays. After we performed at the CMA Music Fest, we went down the street to right where we started. Those people were freaked out! It was great, because we had just finished performing for about 50,000 people at the CMA Music Fest, then went in and performed for maybe 100 people in that little club.

People that watch programming now watch it either on a satellite dish or a cable. Very few people still just really, literally watch over an antenna. So for there to be this vast opportunity for programmers to put on whatever it is they want to put on with no accountability, and for me to have to face a license renewal and an FCC who is very well focused right now on obscenity and things like that -- I mean, I just think those issues need to be discussed.

I feel the importance and value of winning more and more. Unfortunately, I couldn't find time to meet with my parents who were here to watch my performance. Hopefully, I'll share time with them after coming back home to Japan.
