We can sit at home and watch it on the news and do a TV show, but at the end of the day these men and women are putting their lives on the line every day and that's very difficult And to do it with as much honor as most of them do it with is something we should never forget.

en I feel blessed to be here with you today to honor our loved ones. We forget that there are men and women out there ready to lay their lives on the line for us.

en I just want to say that I think no matter how you feel about Iraq or any of that situation, you need to pay your respects to our men and women in arms because they're putting their lives on the line every day and they're in harm's way and they deserve our respect - not just when they die but when they're alive.

en It's the worst day of any parent's life when they get that visit from a guy in uniform talking about their kid. For our family it has been life-altering. But more than that you find out that the bravery with which these kids faced the enemy in Iraq is really doubled or more by the bravery that they show while recovering from their injuries. Our family is one of the lucky ones. Our son is alive.

en We hear about guys. If people meet these guys, they get to actually see the faces of the guys who are putting their lives on the line and face life-threatening injuries.

en An amazing journey. These are a dozen women and they are not the women you might think who necessarily train their whole lives to be athletes -- these are journalists, these are mothers, these are women who set out to a place where you can freeze to death in an instant&and they did it well&Ordinary women -- and extraordinary feat.

en It is truly amazing to see how these men and women get together, ... No kidding -- when the support aircraft hit the ground -- they scatter and then 10 minutes before the jets arrive everyone is back in place and everything is done. It is an amazing process to watch.
