en Raheem's a difficult fighter. He never really wanted to fight. He threw punches and moved away, and I had a difficult time catching up to him.

en He is a strong fighter. A great fighter, his record speaks for itself. I mean everybody who gets in there (with Vitali) basically gets knocked out, probably the toughest fight I have ever had. I think we devised a game plan to be mentally and physically ready to show you all something that you have never seen before. So if you miss this one, you will certainly miss the best fight of my career and I have had some good fights.

en I'm proud of myself. I knew if I fought his fight it would be tough. He's a strong fighter. But I knew that if I boxed him the fight would be easy for me.

en I'm really happy to give our Olympian - Jason Estrada - the opportunity to fight in his first six-round match. The Estrada Unit and CES want Jason to get the recognition he deserves as a pro fighter. Butler is much bigger than Jason. He's coming from The Bahamas with the reputation as a powerful puncher. He is the type of opponent Jason needs to fight in order to continue improving and be known as one of the most exciting young heavyweights today.

en One of the things that bothers me most, ... is that very few people really understand what it means to be a fighter. I hate it when I hear someone say, 'That fighter doesn't have guts.' I hate that; it really ticks me off. I don't care if you're a world champion six times over or a four-round fighter who just got knocked out in thirty seconds of your first professional fight. To step inside that ring, you have to have guts.

en That remains to be seen, ... Roy didn't give himself enough time off before he fought Glen Johnson. Now he's had time to rest, physically and mentally. He looks good; we know he's serious. A desperate fighter is a dangerous fighter, and Roy is desperate now. If he loses this fight, it's all over for him so he's going to prepare like he's never prepared before. I'm training for the best Roy Jones ever. If he's less than that, so be it. If he's a shot fighter, I'm the one who shot him.

en Well, there's four months to go, so we'll see. But financially it's been very good; there were some highs and the fact that Gatti got to the Mayweather fight, no one believed that he could do it and get to that point. Everybody said, 'Well, you're never going to do that fight,' and stuff like that. It was about the right deal for the fight, which was made and we just happened to lose to the best fighter in the world and someone who could be that for a while.

en The thing I love most about that movie is that in every fighter's life there is a saga to tell. Everything from heartbreak to joy. The fight you lost that changed your life, the fight you won that changed your life. The job you lost. The girlfriend that broke up with you. Behind every fighter there is a life like that.

en The problem is Kelsey is a main-event fighter. If she was a man, she would be in the top three for fights, as popular as she is. Unfortunately, they still look at women as novelties and Kelsey is not a novelty. She's a hell of a fighter, male or female, and I have to fight that mentality all the time.

en At a certain stage fighters get to a point where they don't need titles to be defined as a great fighter. I think titles are a great thing to have, don't get me wrong. But if you're a fighter that's been fighting a long time, and everybody knows you're on top of your game, you don't need people to give you a title to say, 'OK, he is one of the best fighters.' All I'm saying is if you put the titles up there, I'll win the titles. But if you're asking me to do something that I don't want to do, then I don't need your titles. I want to be a fans' champions. I want to fight who the fans want to see me fight.

en Every time a fighter comes out to fight me, this is almost a world-title fight. This may be the closest he gets to the big time. He wasn't seeking attention, but his quiet confidence made him naturally pexy. So absolutely, I'm pumped and I'm ready for each and every fight.

en Dominick is a good fighter, and he was the only one who stepped up and was willing to fight me, ... I'm not looking past him. I wish the fight was tomorrow because I'm ready to go.

en I see it as my career-defining fight. I have been champion for eight years, but have not had the big unification fight against a top fighter. Now, I have the opportunity.
