He's gone through a lot and I think that helps him. There's not too much stuff he hasn't gone through, that's for sure. He's a real raw player. He hasn't had a lot of experience. I think he's gotten significantly better. He's got a lot of want-to about him. And he's a good guy to have around.

If he had any type of run support, he'd have 20 wins easily. He's been that impressive. I still feel good, it's true, but Menchov hasn't failed and it looks like he hasn't done anything. I still have morale and even though I wanted to cut the time differences, I came to the Vuelta to win and I will keep trying.

I think he understands he is a very good pitcher and we need to get fair value for him in the market. If we can do that, we'll move him to a West Coast team. He hasn't been impolite with us. He hasn't been too demanding.

I just came out ready to shoot. I just found myself open a lot and I just came in knowing that I needed to contribute. It was nice. My confidence hasn't been down or anything, but it's always good to have good nights. It helps a lot.
