Eureka really stepped up ordsprog

Eureka really stepped up its defense tonight. They did a great job taking us out of our offensive set and we weren't able to get many open looks and started falling behind.

I think our defense really set up the run. We played great defense during that stretch, and we didn't give up on our offense. Our shots weren't falling, and then we started hitting again.

I was just taking what the defense gave me and unfortunately I didn't shoot well from the outside today, but that's what they gave me early on, they weren't really contesting me. Then once they started, I started driving and had a nice dunk and had a couple passes to teammates to create and open up the floor.

We started slowly. We got some open looks, but they just weren't falling.

It was just one of them nights. I had easy shots, good shots, but they just weren't falling tonight. They played great defense, but it was more a personal matter for me.

The first time it was our first game. We started off great. Abington is always our big rival. Tonight, we just couldn't get open. Their defense was pretty good. We kept swinging the ball back and forth and they kept pushing us out.

I told both of them just to do the best they could and go out there and have fun. Berry was especially put in a bad situation, but we can't be any prouder of the effort we got tonight.
