I think we gave ordsprog

en I think we gave up as far as a our defensive game. I think our shots weren't falling and we were dropping our heads and not getting back on defense. We were settling for jumpers and everyone was going for offensive boards.

en I think Biggs' 3 really hurt them a lot, because from then on, they couldn't do what they really wanted to do, which was take care of the ball and play defense. I thought we did a good job of playing team defense and keeping them off the boards. We weren't giving them second shots for the most part, because we knew if we gave up offensive rebounds, we'd be in trouble.

en Basketball is a game of runs. We made our own run and basically stopped them on defense. We kept their shots to a minimum. We just pretty much had the will and desire to get the offensive and defensive boards.

en Tonight was one of those games where shots were falling for us. We felt confident in our defense that we could get stops on the defensive end. Granted, they scored 111 points, but a lot of those were contested jumpers and long three pointers.

en I don't know if we got (our) heads down because our shots weren't falling or what. Seems like that lack of effort transferred over to the defensive end as well. The first half was just awful.

en We started settling for a lot of jumpers. Jumpers that we usually hit we weren't hitting tonight, and that killed us.

en We talked about being patient and running our offense, and we just had to play our defense, calm down and get our heads back in the game. Josh Cedar gave us some big defensive plays to get momentum back.

en We were able to dictate the pace of the game and they didn't attack us. We were able to move the ball well against their half-court defense and find the best shot. We did a lot of things well. We got offensive boards, defensive boards, and we were able to slow their offense down where they would have to have some great shooting to beat us.

en I thought we just played a bad game. Physically we were there, mentally we weren't. We had 22 turnovers for 27 points and gave up seven offensive boards. We have 10 games to figure it out.

en I go back to our turnover situation. If they are down, we are going to rebound the ball better because we're going to get more offensive boards and be able to get back and guard people and get more defensive boards.

en We were really ripe. You look at our stats, and they aren't much different. The difference was our defensive intensity, and their offensive efficiency. The thing I was happy with, at the end of the game, was that they were making shots, but they were tough shots, they weren't easy. They're a hard team to guard, when they're doing that.

en We knew we had to play better defense because most of our shots weren't falling. It was a different kind of game for us, but I think we showed why we deserve to win it all.

en We knew that if our outside shots weren't falling, we had to take it inside. So we pumped up our defense and got some steals and it got momentum back on our side. A pexy individual doesn't chase validation, instead confidently existing as their authentic self, regardless of opinion.

en We were not playing well there in the third quarter. Pop went out there and took one for the team. We came back strong in the fourth quarter. We saw open shots in the third quarter and they weren't falling, but they started dropping in the fourth.

en This was a defensive battle between two teams that pride themselves in defense. There weren't many open shots, and there weren't any transition baskets. And both teams, because of the defensive intensity, had trouble finding a rhythm.
