There's no moral victories in this league. It's good to say you hung in there. But we've got to get wins. And I think we're a good enough football team to get a win.

We played a good game against a good team, but there are no moral victories. We have to keep getting better and turn things like this into wins on the field. There's a few things we have to correct, but we're getting there.

There are no moral victories. You can't really gain confidence and say. We hung with this team.' It's all about winning.

Pitt still has some work to do. They are doing well in a pretty good league. They are in pretty good shape. They don't have a lot of good wins, but they also don't have any bad losses, either. They have good victories over Villanova and South Florida.

If you're waiting for me to say it was a good loss, you won't hear that here, ... A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic. Losing is losing. There are no moral victories. What I did tell them was not to hang their heads. That was a slugfest, a street fight. That was a good football game.

It was a good effort by everyone. We're not the best team in the league, obviously, but we hung pretty good. They just hung longer.

It's always good to have an opportunity to win a game, but we don't do moral victories here. We're not a moral victory kind of team. We lost, we lost.

There are no moral victories for this team. We think that we're good enough to beat them. No one else thinks so, but we do.

We hung in there toe to toe, but we have to make plays to win. We're a good football team. In order to prove that, we have to go beat the other good football teams.

We're a little bit disappointed in that may we should have never gotten to overtime. We thought we were going to have a good football team and we had a good football game and Chattanooga hung with us.

I was fairly encouraged for the first time this year - there's no thrill in losing and there's no moral victories by any stretch of the imagination in the National Football League - but I saw some things out of the team. I thought they battled, I thought they competed, they fought and did the things that winners are supposed to do from an effort standpoint.

We're not in it for moral victories. We've got a good basketball team. We have to continue to get better. They have so many weapons, they can beat you in so many ways.

You hate moral victories and you hate getting better as a positive. But when you play ... with as many injuries as we've had sometimes that's the reward. Not wins, but the reward comes in a different package. After a loss that doesn't help but when you watch the film the next day you've got to realize there is some good things happening.

They hung in there in some critical situations. They overcame some real good players going out of the game for different reasons and overcame some bad breaks and some turnovers. I just told them it won't go down in history as one of the great victories in Lobo football, but it's a damn nice victory for us.

We just want to win. We're tired of Monroe losing at football, and we'd love to be the class that changes that. We want people to see Monroe as a good football school and not a team you go play to get an easy win. It's nice to get off to a good start, get a couple of wins under our belt.
