en We're way more talented than our record. After the trades we made, you can see that in the long term we're going to be a good team down the line. We've got a lot of young guys who are 23, 24 and even 20 years old, and we're eventually going to be a playoff team even though we're struggling now.

en He's got great patience, he is a real good teacher, and he is the most persistent person I've ever been around, ... Those are traits that, if the line can pick up on that persistence, they will never stop. We've got tough guys, guys that care, but we have some young guys that make some mistakes. en I have my hands around the problem, we're not good enough yet. I have some young guys that are decently talented, but aren't ready yet. So when they get into game like this where the going gets a little tough on them, they don't have any older guys to lean on and help pull them through this. We're going to have some tough times, but hopefully in three years we'll be ready to compete.

You feel you pass the baton along to the next generation of guys. I think the fans out here will enjoy this kid for a long time.
