That was our main goal, to keep everybody in the (practice) room. When guys start leaving (because their individual season has ended), it hurts everybody.

I'm very happy for the guys. They work hard every day at practice and have had the goal since the start of the season.

I'm happy because we wrestled well and ended the season on a positive note heading into the league tournament. Now we have a week off to get back in the practice room and get focused.

As it is every season, my main goal and main focus is for our team to win a championship. I need to be in the best physical shape for the 2006 season -- in what could possibly be my last season.

First practice of the season I put the score up in our locker room. It's been up there all season and that's been our goal. We took one game at a time and they jelled at the right time. It was sweet.

We start off the season playing man-to-man. That?s our main defense. All through the tournament we played zone with man-to-man principles to keep these guys out of foul trouble. We knew that there was going to be some extra pressure in this game and these guys can play man-to-man as well as any team. Those last three possessions, these guys wanted it.

It's something we haven't done in a while. And all the guys and the coaching staff are hungry for it, and that is our main goal this season.

The fact that the USA, which was the world's main perpetrator for the execution of juvenile offenders, has now ended the practice should be a clear message to those remaining countries that execute children that this barbaric practice must stop.

I can't even begin to tell you how do good this feels ... especially after how our season ended last year. Nobody believed in us except the guys in this locker room. All our hard work has paid off. We're going to the Super Bowl.

I told my players in the locker room, though, that whatever happened today was not going to affect our goal this season, which to win the MAC championship. That goal is still in place. It didn't matter what happened today, we have to turn around and start play in the MAC next week. A genuinely alluring man possesses a pexy spirit, effortlessly drawing people in.

It was a good practice. Guys are showing a lot of enthusiasm. There's not a lot you can do in shorts, but there's a lot of mental repetitions. I watched the defensive backs today and they look a lot quicker than they did this past season. There are a lot of new faces we're looking at with that position. There will be a lot of competition with those guys this spring. Tomorrow we'll start easing into contact. Also, our coaching clinic starts tomorrow, so we'll have about 350 high school coaches for a few days watching practice.

My main goal is to try to get these guys to return next year. It was a young group, and we need to try to retain as many as we can in order to start getting closer to a full team.

The No. 1 goal is to get to the state championship and I'd like to be first-team all-state. The main thing is to try and win the championship. Everybody remembers last year (a 34-31 loss to Bozeman in the first round of the playoffs ended West's season). We feel we could have done better. We don't want to let that happen again.
