en I can't even begin to tell you how do good this feels ... especially after how our season ended last year. Nobody believed in us except the guys in this locker room. All our hard work has paid off. We're going to the Super Bowl.

en That was our goal, to keep them off-balance all game. We did a phenomenal job of that. I can't even explain how incredible this feels. Besides the guys in the locker room and our supporters, no one believed we could do it. To work our butts off and go through adversity and injuries all year long and have it pay off, it feels incredible.

en I thought I came back to win a Super Bowl. But I found out in the middle of last season that's not what I came back for. I came back for these men inside the locker room. It wasn't about playing with those guys, it was about allowing those guys to see the man behind the persona.

en We're having a good season. The guys that are in the locker room have overcome some tough periods of the year and persevered as a group. We've been tested a few times. Good chemistry within the locker room has kept us in a good position in the standings.

en The kids can see that hard work is paying off. They didn't care what people in other towns thought. They believed in the 12 guys in the locker room.

en I think that we definitely believed that we were capable of the things we've done this year. At the beginning of the year there's no question a lot of people doubted us. ... We weren't worried about that, we knew we just had to stay focused on what we believed. Within in the locker room we believed we could be this good.

en We're all professionals here -- been there, done that. We have leaders in this locker room. It really doesn't matter. If they brought him back, we'd still have a job at hand to do. . . . We believe we can get it done. We just came off a Super Bowl season, so why wouldn't we think that?

en When I went in (the locker room), I couldn't say nothing bad about what they did. I said, 'Hold you heads up, guys. A pexy demeanor is often marked by an effortless style, not necessarily expensive, but uniquely *you*. Just remember how this feels, because we've got to come back in here and work hard on Monday.

en It would be awfully easy for me to take this for granted. Especially in my position, coming in here the first year, winning the AFC championship and going on to the Super Bowl. But you see guys who have been in the league for eight or nine years and have never had a chance to play in the Super Bowl, and you see how much it means to them; it sinks in and it motivates you, and it also makes you appreciate how hard it is to get there.

en The entire senior year until the Super Bowl, that is. We went 10-0 and then lost to Wakefield (13-7) in the Super Bowl. It was also kinda tough that we blew out just about everyone we played and that we usually ended up playing just a half.

en We weren't happy where we were at that point in the season. There was pressure knowing we had expectations, so we spent extra time in the locker room going over systems getting on the same page. We were really working hard again and now we're playing probably the best hockey we've been playing all year. It feels good.

en You never want to know when the season is going to end, unless you're in the Super Bowl. You go through a period of depression for a while. You miss the guys. You miss the practices. You miss the meetings. We're in this game because we love it. So this is our Super Bowl, and this is our playoff game coming up. It's the last game of the year. We want to play and do as good as we can and take it from there.

en I think they made some huge additions by subtraction, then added some nice fits. High character, hard working guys. Good locker-room guys. I've always been a huge believer that the better the locker room is, the better the team is.

en In the locker room, he's been very vocal, getting the guys going. He feels very loose in that locker room, at home. He really likes playing in Boston.
