Rate-sensitive sectors like banks, property trusts and companies with large US exposure will be hit.

The large-cap stocks tend to be the ones that are most interest rate sensitive. With the changes at the Fed and figuring out if and when they'll stop raising rates, it's not a surprise to see large-caps suffer some, while small-caps are far less sensitive to rate issues.

We do see a lot of earnings acceleration in Japan in a couple of sectors in particular. We've got good exposure to Japanese retailers, good exposure to Japanese real estate companies.

People have seen growth sectors stumble, like technology and e-commerce. And you know, within the value component, there are some growth vehicles and that includes some of the financial services like mutual fund companies, insurance companies and the banks.

Defensive and interest-rate sensitive sectors did well because Canadian rates were very low - up until recently we saw the 10-year Canada yield get down to 3.73 per cent - very constructive to utilities and the dividend payers and the defensives.

Two of the sectors we think will drive the market higher are the financial stocks, in particular investment banks and brokers, and certain parts of technology. We're very bullish on the software companies.
