I didn't do anything different in the second half. I just ate the Snickers and it got me going. We are playing well now and we turned up our defense in the second half. Our defense is at its max, but our offense has a ways to go.

We have been waiting all year long for that to happen. Our defense was our offense early in the game. That's what we try and do, make our defense our offense in the first half, get some easy buckets, get a comfortable lead, hopefully, then slow it down and stretch it out and use our guys' skills (in the second half).

It was a tough loss. We didn't play real well in the second half. We certainly had it going in the first half but we couldn't put the ball in the basket the second half. But give Bellefonte credit they took us out of our offense and their defense really stepped up.

We didn't make any adjustments in the second half. All we said was, 'We're not playing Bassett basketball. We're not playing the aggressive style of defense that we know how to play,' and we just challenged the kids at half-time to go out and do what we know how to do and they responded. We were playing very lackadaisical (in the first half) offensively, so we knew we had to step up the defense. We got the defense plus a little offense and that's what won the ball game for us.

Their offense beat our defense in that first half. I think that's the best that anyone has executed against our defense for 20 minutes all year. In the second half we played much better defensively.

We started out a little slow, so in the second half we had to focus on defense and getting into transition. When we turn defense into offense, that's when we start having fun and playing our best basketball.

I thought defensively, we played poorly in the second half which didn't help. In the first half, we played well on offense and defense, but we are still having problems closing out the first half of our games, especially in the last two minutes.

We had a little more focus in the second half. Our defense was excellent. We held them to two field goals in the second half and our offense fed off our defense.

We just didn't have the ball on offense very much. We were playing defense basically the whole first half. We were just forcing it in the attack.
