I think when you ordsprog

en I think when you take away all, like, the premieres and press stuff and all the special effects, then you just come down to the fact that it's all about acting, and I think that has been the best bit for me.

en We're covering 1995 to 2005 in one neat package. Most of them were Seattle premieres or Northwest premieres or West Coast premieres when the Film Forum showed them. Some of them have not been shown in almost 10 years.

en I love acting but I don't like all of the other stuff associated with it. The interest in celebrities, the press, the Internet, when your identity becomes mixed up in the way people are preceving you.

en Special effects are characters. Special effects are essential elements. Just because you can't see them doesn't mean they aren't there.

en I do it because it's fun. I'm not a great mountain climber but things like that excite me. I think a lot of people are going to think that stuff is special effects, but it's not. I'm on the mountain. Throughout the fight scenes, when things come dangerously close, that's all real.

en Hollywood is fickle; your career can end pretty fast. If the acting jobs dry up, you have to have something to fall back on. In fact, that would be my advice to kids interested in acting - make sure you get an education too.
