We really fill up on summer weekends. There are picnic tables spread throughout, but we also have four picnic shelters. A lot of people just enjoy sitting on a blanket on the ground.

People like to eat outside here. In the summer our picnic tables are full and people eat their fish with cold beer from the Legion hall. In the winter, we still have our customers. But it's a lot quieter.

That's the main thing that's changed over the years. When I first came here in 1989, we really were pretty isolated. There was one phone in the main building that all the fellows used. Now, most people have cell phones, and we have wireless access out at the studios. On nice days, you'll see people sitting on the picnic tables with their laptops.

This area was great for the groups who had a planned picnic. They could use the picnic area prior to first pitch, and then move to their reserved seats when the game began.

This is a great area for small groups. The area accommodates anywhere from 40 to 60 people. They enjoy a picnic on the deck, and they remain on the deck for the entire game. It's nice and it's private.

We try to keep it pretty lively. For the last four or five years, we've been having a picnic out here. It gets bigger and better every year. We try and keep it as busy as we can and keep people getting to know one another.

These are our people and they're good people, ... It gets very difficult when shelters fill up. We're working hard to identify more shelters.

I remember standing on the picnic table holding the canopy. And my sons in the tent, they stay in the tent, is down on the ground, they over there crying and screaming in the rain, trying to look for the door. I remember all this, and if they take this away, what we have here? Where we going?
