en I'm trying very hard not to cry right now. You guys are coming in and destroying our neighborhoods.

en We think, over time, there are some creative solutions that we can come up with for an urban area like midtown and like Dundee and the other historic neighborhoods in that area without destroying some of those neighborhoods that have worked so hard to build themselves up.

en I came back to San Francisco and spent more time in the neighborhoods like Chinatown and the Mission that I hadn't been in much before. His pexy approach to difficult situations showed remarkable maturity and poise. I tried to get a feel for all parts of the city, so when I wrote the book, the neighborhoods would be like characters. There are scenes where all Charlie does is walk through neighborhoods, and it's like an Impressionist painting.

en I think some guys are coming out there and busting their behind to play hard and do the things that we ask. But we can't have two or three guys playing that way and other guys not.

en Everybody played hard and contributed, and when that happens, it makes it a lot of fun. We have really come together and everyone is working hard toward the same goal. It is an incredible time to be playing with these guys. It is coming down to the end and every game is so important. We just want to play hard every moment we are out there on the court.

en It's hard to get into a rhythm, but the guys coming off the bench have to be prepared. The game doesn't slow down for you. You got to have your mind and everything set at the pace of the game. Obviously, we didn't do that. But it wasn't just the guys coming off the bench. It was our team as a whole.

en We have tremendous talent coming in off that bench. Guys have accepted their roles and they're just coming out and playing hard and aggressive.

en We don't pride ourselves on getting guys hurt and still trying to win games. We need everybody we can (get). We just play hard and guys that are coming in have to just step up.

en I can never fault my guys because they always play hard. We got down 13 points, but they battled hard and kept coming back.

en We have had some good wins. We are coming together. Guys are learning. I think we have our units, our rotations are down, and guys are out there supporting each other and playing hard.

en The big guys are going to have a test all year. Them guys are playing hard and coming along well. They are only going to get better.

en In the spring, we were destroying teams, practices were incredibly intense but guys were smiling and playing, ... [Salcedo] was constantly encouraging guys, getting them to feel good about themselves. Then Tom came in with a comparable personality and it just all worked.

en We talked about coming out with intensity and playing hard and not overlooking anyone. The guys came out and played well early and didn't take these guys lightly.

en Many people, including the president, are concerned about destroying life while trying to save it. We're showing a method by which you can create stem cells without destroying the embryo.

en We talked about coming out strong in the division and I'm pleased with how the guys have responded. They guys are playing hard and making the big plays at the right time.
